How to Set Up the Gravity Reactor™ | Rotating Water Hookah Setup Guide

A quick setup guide for the Gravity Reactor™ 360° rotating dual-chamber water hookah system. Follow these steps to get running in under five minutes.

Step 1: Place the Reactor on a Stable Surface

Set the Gravity Reactor™ frame on a flat, stable surface before attaching the glass chambers. A level surface prevents the system from tipping during setup and reduces stress on the glass during assembly.

Step 2: Fill One Glass Chamber About 3/4 Full

Fill one of the glass chambers with clean water — approximately 3/4 full. Do not overfill. The water needs room to move freely between chambers during rotation. Overfilling restricts water movement and reduces the gravity-assist effect.

Step 3: Secure Both Glass Chambers

Attach both glass chambers to the ABS frame. Make sure the fitted gaskets are seated properly at each connection point before tightening. Hand-tighten only — do not overtighten. The gaskets create the airtight seal; overtightening can crack the glass or damage the gasket.

Step 4: Connect the Hose and 14mm Connection

Attach the 5 ft hose to the hose port on the frame. Connect the 14mm connection piece to the bowl port. Check that both connections are snug and seated fully. Loose connections will break the airtight seal and reduce airflow performance.

Tube set tip: Install the Bubbler Tube Set for your first session — it gives you the clearest feel for how the gravity-assisted water movement works. Switch to the Max-Airflow Tube Set when you want a faster, more direct draw.

Step 5: Rotate the System

With the chambers secured and connections in place, slowly rotate the frame 180°. Watch through the glass as water transfers from the filled chamber to the empty one. This confirms the system is sealed and the water movement is working correctly. If water leaks at any connection point, stop and reseat the gasket before continuing.

Step 6: Draw as Water Movement Assists Airflow

With water now in the lower chamber, draw through the hose. The water displacement from the rotation creates gravity-assisted pressure in the airflow path — you’ll notice the draw requires less effort than a standard fixed-chamber setup. The pull should feel smooth and consistent.

Step 7: Rotate, Draw, and Repeat

When the water has fully transferred to the lower chamber, rotate the system again to reset. Water moves back to the other side, and the gravity-assist cycle repeats. There’s no need to refill between rotations — the same water continues to drive airflow each time you rotate.

Safety and Care Notes

Handle glass carefully — the chambers are glass; set them down gently and avoid hard surfaces
Do not overtighten — hand-tighten only; overtightening can crack the glass or damage gaskets
Use on a flat surface — always operate on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping
